INCIDENT TYPE EXPLANATION

STRUCTURE FIRES

 All building fires. Includes residential, multi-family or apartments, commercial and industrial. Room and content, confined cooking/appliance, chimney.

TRANSPORTATION FIRES

 All vehicles, commercial vehicles, RV, boat, watercraft, train/rail, powered mobility devices.

OUTSIDE FIRES

 Vegetation/grass, wildland, trash/rubbish, dumpster or container, construction waste, tank, utility infrastructure 

MEDICAL/RESCUE

 Medical and rescue responses including medical calls, vehicle accidents with injuries/extrication, outdoor rescues, structure/indoor rescues, and water rescues

HAZARDOUS SITUATIONS

 Electrical hazards, power lines down, smoke or odor investigations, carbon monoxide, fuel or gas incidents

PUBLIC SERVICE

 Lift assist, lockouts, service calls, citizen assist, fire or gas alarms, weather assessment,

NO EMERGENCY

 False alarms, controlled burning, non-hostile smoke, canceled enroute, wrong location, no incident found on arrival.
