INCIDENT TYPE EXPLANATION

STRUCTURE FIRES

 All building fires. Includes residential, multi-family or apartments, commercial and industrial. 

VEHICLE FIRES

 All vehicles, commercial vehicles, heavy equipment vehicles, off-road or farm equipment, camper or RV. 

OTHER FIRES

 Any other fires. Includes cooking fires confined to container. Brush and grass fires, dumpster or other outside trash receptacle fire, outside trash, rubbish or waste material fires.

EMS/RESCUE

 All medical assist responses, vehicle accidents with/without injuries, motor vehicle vs pedestrian or bicycle or motorcycle. Any rescue or extrication. 

HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS

 Non-Fires, aircraft standby, gasoline or other flammable liquid spill, LPG or natural gas leak, oil or other combustible liquid spills. Heat from electrical short circuit, power line down, arcing, or shorted electrical equipment. 

SERVICE CALLS

 Lift assists, Lock outs, water problems. Smoke or odor removal. Animal rescues. Public service assistance, assist law enforcement or other government agency. Unauthorized burning. Standby. 

GOOD INTENT

 Cancelled enroute, wrong location, no incident found on arrival, controlled burn, smoke or odor in area. 

FALSE CALLS

 False alarms, mechanical or malicious. System malfunctions or technician working on the system. Smoke, heat or CO detector accidental trip or mechanical failure. Medical alarms.
