Have you ever considered serving your community as a volunteer firefighter? Gallatin has been protected by citizens just like you since 1893.

Gain experience and skills

Serving as a volunteer firefighter is an incredibly rewarding experience. Members can serve their community in a range of capacities, including Interior/Exterior Firefighter, Brush Firefighting, Vehicle Firefighting, Vehicle Accident Response, Rescue Response, Driving & Operating Apparatus, or Medical Responses & Emergency Medical Services (EMS).

Minimum Requirements

Must be a current resident of Gallatin MO

Be in good physical health and able to participate in physically strenuous demanding activities

Be at least 18 years old

Valid driver's license and a good driving record

No criminal record/felonies

Complete basic fire and/or EMS training

Attend meetings and ongoing trainings

Gallatin Fire Protection District
